You want a clearly defined scope
You want to know what the proposal includes, excludes and may require separate approval. A low price may omit permits, wood bucks, finish work, engineering or other items that affect the final project.
A transparent project-fit guide
Bigfoot Windows and Roofing helps South Florida homeowners plan and complete impact window, door and roofing projects with clear scopes, code-aware work and straightforward communication.
Bigfoot also performs selected commercial, industrial, multifamily, condominium, HOA, townhome, storefront, glazing and new-construction work. These projects may require different documentation, access, approvals, scheduling and estimating. They are typically reviewed through the commercial or estimating team, while an advisor still visits the property to evaluate the work.
A strong match
You want to know what the proposal includes, excludes and may require separate approval. A low price may omit permits, wood bucks, finish work, engineering or other items that affect the final project.
You are comfortable with required permits, inspections, product approvals, installation requirements and engineering when conditions require it. Bigfoot explains these requirements instead of promising to bypass them.
You want help understanding materials, glass, roofing systems, lead times, maintenance, warranties and project tradeoffs.
You want a contractor who communicates what is happening, which decisions are needed and what happens next.
Older homes, openings, roof decks, stucco, drainage, prior work and concealed conditions may affect the project. You want them handled honestly rather than hidden until the end.
The project works best when the homeowner or authorized decision-maker is available for selections, approvals, access and questions that affect the schedule.
Bigfoot primarily serves Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Projects outside the normal service area are reviewed before an appointment is scheduled.
Where we add value
We focus on impact windows, impact doors, roofing and related coordination, including roof repairs and maintenance. Partial reroofs may be possible when code and scope conditions allow.
As licensed Florida general, roofing and glazing contractors, we can coordinate applicable structural modifications, installation details and related trades. Engineering or separately approved work is identified and discussed.
One company coordinating windows, doors, roofing, openings, water management, structural details and finish work can be easier to manage than several disconnected contractors.
Preparation, removal, opening conditions, fastening, sealing, protection, cleanup, inspections and closeout can all affect the final result.
Some products and roof systems have meaningful lead times, especially during busy periods or before hurricane season. Responsible planning matters more than an impossible start date.
Expectations matter
Clear boundaries protect the homeowner and the project.
A lower price may reflect a different scope, excluding permits, preparation, repairs, inspections, protection, cleanup or closeout.
Bigfoot cannot promise to avoid permits, inspections, code requirements or engineering required to perform the work legally and safely.
If you want a one-line price without understanding inclusions or exclusions, another contractor may be a better match.
Ordering, approvals, measurements, fabrication, weather, preparation and inspections affect schedules, and responsible steps cannot be skipped.
We do not promise final answers about concealed, structural or code-related conditions before the relevant information is available.
Proposal totals only make sense after comparing permits, materials, methods, repairs, finish work, warranties and closeout responsibilities.
The homeowner or authorized decision-maker must provide access, make selections and respond to decisions affecting the work.
Non-impact windows, glass-only replacement, interior doors, screen-only work, non-impact garage doors, panel shutters, skylight repair, solar reinstallation and unrelated service calls may require another provider. Contact us when the scope is unclear.
Commercial, industrial, multifamily, condominium, HOA, townhome and new-construction work may still fit, but these projects go through a project-review or commercial inquiry process.

Straight answers
Bigfoot does not promise to be the cheapest contractor. The goal is to provide a clearly defined project with the work, responsibilities and exclusions explained so homeowners can compare proposals fairly.
Fit is not determined only by budget size. The more important questions are whether the scope is realistic, the required work can be performed properly and the homeowner wants to understand what is included. Bigfoot does not remove required work simply to reach an unsafe or unrealistic price.
No. The consultation helps both sides determine whether the project, expectations, timing and scope are a good match.
Bigfoot coordinates standard permitting and inspection steps within the agreed project scope. Special engineering, unrelated violations or unusual conditions are identified and handled according to the written proposal and contract.
Yes. Bigfoot regularly works with HOA architectural review boards and condo associations and can coordinate the applicable approval process within the agreed project scope.
Bigfoot can help explain how to compare proposals, but homeowners should review each proposal carefully and confirm directly with that contractor what is included. Use the Contractor Proposal Comparison Tool.
We would rather clarify that early than make promises that do not match the project. If Bigfoot cannot responsibly perform the work or the expectations do not align, we explain the issue as clearly as possible.
